To ensure that your turbines are working efficiently and to prevent unnecessary component wear let Composotech dynamically balance your turbines, inspect the rotor blades, and if necessary perform repairs and setting adjustments.

Many turbines are subject to vibrations caused by rotor imbalance. An imbalance will lead to accelerated wear of gear boxes, bearings, and rotor blades causing respective yield losses and unnecessary repairs. Rotor imbalance can be caused by an aerodynamic misalignment or a difference in mass between blades.

Our technology to inspect blades and to measure and correct rotor imbalance does not require the use of on site cranes.

Full rotor blade inspection is recommended annually. Small areas of damage, erosion, and a build up of air particulate can lead to undesirable vibrations, poor performance, and shorten the life span of one of your turbines major components. Leading edge erosion of blades is a major threat to performance. Annual inspections lead to early detection of blade deterioration. If damage is left unaddressed the elements will greatly shorten the life expectancy of blades.
